My 1st Year in College

I am sitting in my dorm room, procrastinating a bit (sshhh don't tell my mom), three days before I go back to Sebtown for SUMMER! While sitting here surfing the on-line abyss I thought, "hey, why not put up some pictures of my first year here in Davis?" So I'm gonna put up a little photo journal of the last 8 months of my life. I miss everyone lots and cannot wait until Thanksgiving and X-mas for our crazy MYRV times that I cherish ever so much.

End of summer report: Brooklyn

All-in-all, a great summer. Three vacations -- Chandru and Dylan to SF in early summer, Dylan and I to Palm Springs with the Yoshimi women, and all three of us to Boston and then CapeCod for our friend Cara's 40th birthday party -- a lobster/clam extravaganza, complete with french songs and dancing.

Dylan adopted the word "freakin'" for much of our palm springs trip, honed his portrait drawing skills, and is dreading going back to school in two weeks. I have been working (!), and even making some (a little) money, and Chandru has lived through the construction of a deck off our kitchen -- somebody has to visit in Fall to sit outside on our "treehouse" and sip wine and argue with Chandru about, well, anything.

Technical difficulties resolved!

Well, there weren't any technical difficulties really. Financial ones. Sapient switched credit card companies so this account was being billed to my old card, which was no longer valid. I refer you to the guide I created for adding posts...the more you do it, the easier it gets!

However, I have a relatively light workload right now, so if there is some stuff you'd like me to post, I am happy to do it for you, just send it to me. Remember, a post does not have to be a lot of photos. It can be one photo and some text, or just text! Anything!

Even if you have only one picture, you can put that up with some commentary, like the one I did for my birthday. Surely our lives are not so boring!

The MR's of MYRV have contributed some photos for the myrv blog, but they show up in the "test" album on the main blogsite. I WILL read the instructions before attempting this again, but in the meantime, can you put them in an album on the myrv site?

I Made it back - In style!

Hi Everyone, Just wanted you all to know that last Christmas was one of the best ones in recent memory. It was so great to see all of you. My birthday was also great (see pic), We went to a nice portugese restaurant on 5th ave. My friend Elyse who lives in Munich,  but originally from NYC also joined us. The icing on the cake was that I was upgraded to business class on the way back to Munich!

Merry Christmas Everyone! And welcome to 'A whole lotta MYRV'. MYRV stands for: Murthi, Yoshimi, Reagh, Villasenor. Yes that's right, you're looking at our family blog. A living breathing documentation of all our excitements, intrigues and adventures! An online spot where we can all post and view the latest bits of information from our individual lives and keep current with eachother in spite of our disparate locations. Of course I will manage the site for us all. All you will need to do is email me your content.
